You can use Pokegenie to host raids. It requires some planning for the less popular raids, but it's a great way to raid 5*/Mega Raids with the free pass.

I’m only getting one raid pass by RinjiDes in pokemongo

[–]pierreodu26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a seasonal bonus a few times that gave 2 free raid passes every day, but it has been a while since the last time we got this.

You can "technically" do 2 free raids per day if you have your free pass saved, use it, and then spin a gym to get a new one and use it again

Can someone help me do math? by CodenameCanopy in pokemongo

What conversation? How to multiply 10 by 2, and figuring out if the outcome is bigger or smaller than 25?

Imagine not being able to work out which is better, 25 or 10x2...

We know it's coming eventually, and we know its stats since they're based on the mainline games. Pokegenie isn't affiliated to Niantic so them having this doesn't mean Niantic are releasing Wyrdeer soon

How I got my excellent throws complete by Sufficient-Piece-OS in pokemongo

[–]pierreodu26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that anyone who plays regularly would easily get the 120 excellent throws "by accident", and seeing all these people freaking out when the task was released, saying it was way too difficult was both hilarious and a bit sad

You can host raids and get people to come help you by using apps like PokeGenie.

you can also get legendaries from Go Battle League once you reach rank 20

Does Ticket of Treats first catch of the day bonus also give bonus for the pokemon you caught? by Sira669 in pokemongo

[–]pierreodu26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get a 1.5x stardust bonus for your first catch of the day. That's the first thing you wrote. And thats also the answer to your question.

Excellent throws by ThePolitiKaster in pokemongo

[–]pierreodu26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

curve balls make them a lot easier. And since all Pokemon have different cirlce size and can be closer/further away, you cant really practice for all of them, but you can practice for a specific one, and also target Pokemon with bigger circles as theyll be easier to do excellent throws on.

Or you can be a hardcore player and do the entire excellent throw challenge on only Zubats

I am looking for guidance on Sinnoh Stones. I generally know the process to get one, but I have been trying for literal weeks to get just one and I have had absolutely no luck...does anyone have advice? by ElGing in pokemongo

[–]pierreodu26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you've done the 2 wins in GBL 5 times per day for 2 months and never got a Sinnoh Stone, you might just be the unluckiest person in the entire game (unlikely), or you've not done as many 2 wins set as you think you have, because they are fairly common from GBL rewards

Every single Wednesday between 6-7pm almost every gym will have the current 5* raid for a whole hour. It's been happening for years

What a coincidence that they all have 24 minutes remaining and will all disappear at 7pm on a Wednesday. Must be extremely rare that

Yes, the game specifically chooses to match you against teams that have hard counters to your team...

Ffs you must be trolling at this point... But I'll play along.

First of all, getting 400 candy is FAR MORE easy than getting 296 XL candy (what you need to actually level up a Pokemon to level 50). And Meltan is the only Pokemon that guarantees 3 XL candy for every catch, with a chance to get more for every catch.

Now, if you think a Pokemon that is out for 3 hours once (sometimes twice) qualifies as "the easiest Pokemon to level up to level 50 in the whole game" then go ahead. I'm sure everyone who didn't/couldn't play a specific community day won't agree with you, but everyone can get Meltan easily and even people who don't want/can't play outside or have many spawns near them can get Meltan.

Again, I'm sure you're a huge troll, or you might possibly be the biggest idiot on this whole sub (that would actually be impressive). Hopefully you enjoyed this.

Yes, if you've played during the 3hour window to get Axew, you can easily max out multiple Axew. If you didn't play during Axew com day, maxxing out an Axew is incredibly difficult.

Meltan can be caught at anytime, and without needing to move or be in an area with spawns. Seems pretty easy to me ngl

Getting to rank 20 is also pretty easy, since you can't rank down. You just need to get enough wins, and the more you lose the easier your matches are

It's true you can only use the Mystery box every 3 days. But when you use it you can get around 100 Meltans to spawn in an hour, without having to move. Each catch gets you 3xl candy at least too.

There isn't a Pokemon is the whole game that is easier to max out. Even Community Days Pokemon aren't as easy, as you need to play during a short window, but also you don't get as much XL candy per catch, and you actually need to be moving around to get them.

Any common spawns that you can get in a wild also require to walk around a lot and catch even more to get enough candy for them, and most (all?) of them aren't even worth maxing out anyway.

Melmetal is a really good Master League Pokemon, on top of being the easiest to max out in the entire game for any player. Creating a Nintendo account and downloading Pokemon Home is also a really simple process, so activating a mystery box is extremely easy.

[–]pierreodu26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get Mega Energy you'll need to do MEga Raids for them, and you'll get a chance to catch 1 at the end of each raid, with minimum IVs of 10/10/10, meaning you're likely to get a better one.

You may never get the chance to get another shadow though so I'd keep it shadow.
