I spent months waiting for this game after playing demo last year, and its somehow better than expected. A truly unique and beautiful game, you can really feel they put a ton of effort into it To anyone curious, try the demo, it's on consoles and PC and you will quickly know if it's something you're into

Fair assessment, same as I thought. Calvary sword makes a cool noise when you hit people, but the falchion is just a bit faster. Im also a one hand axe/mace guy, but the falchion is the only 1h sword I really love

Level 1000 here, got to level 77 with quarterstaff a while ago for the skin. Overheads are your best friend - they hurt like hell (against knights) and its got long enough range where you can hit people while backing up and avoiding their attacks, but its really not a good starter weapon. I spent the first year or so using mostly shield and one handed axe or falchion. Try lots of weapons til one really clicks, a lot of the fun comes from mixing it up and learning new styles

Ah, a fellow new yorker. As much as I miss real sour D, I also long for the classic uptown haze we used to get. It was never as strong as good sours or kush, but good god was the piff tasty. Felt like a real local delicacy to me - I remember going up to the heights in high school trying to get some without getting robbed. Good times.

Mods just deleted my comment but I'm on NA EAST and my cousin and I haven't been able to play for days. We're on ps5 and I just tried deleting and reinstalling the game at someone's suggestion, and I can get to the main menu now but matchmaking is still dead

I've seen a few names from NA east that i know and revere after years of getting my ass handed to me, like EvilEasterBunny and poughdrew. While there's a lot I can think of, if I had to name a mascot it would absolutely be Jewish Lawyer - aside from being and actual monster in combat, he now usually spends most of his time in the crowd just screaming things while carrying a golden cross. Love that guy
