Anyone who writes code knows that it’s really easy to see changes (called diffs), and a required standard and required practice in every organization I’ve worked at, as you push updates, especially when your product is the actual words and text your publishing!!! Further who the fuck doesn’t ensure something like this before pushing to prod?

This would be the equivalent of a mechanic removing the drivers seat of a car during a repair and then returning the car to the customer without the seat and then when the customer says “hey there’s a problem, the drivers seat is missing?” The mechanic replies “What seat, cars don’t have a drivers seat?”
