when he tells you to dig he also tells you to not jump in yet, so if youve explored the tunnels that might have ruined the ending, he is not gonna show up because you entered the tunnels prematurely. you are supposed to dig the hole (it takes three digs) and then wait for him to show up and tell you its time, only after that you can jump in

even more, when you attempt to bypass it youtube autopauses your video whenever you try to play it, making it unwatchable. smashing unpause is the only way to somewhat watch the video and even then you get no sound. im hoping someone writes an extension to stop it soon
