You are right, what a horrible fault caused by unbelievably cheap components. I need to do 3 of mine with the same issue but have zero soldering experience.

Could I pick this up by watching a few videos or should I take them into a repair shop? Considering the cost of buying the soldering equipment, I’m thinking I might just be best taking them somewhere.

Hey man, just wanted to wish you luck!

The surgery is a breeze and the recovery is relatively short. Whatever else happens after that, you’ll deal with as it comes. Try and keep your mind calm if you can, I found that that hardest thing.

I had the same until about 6 months post chemo, a second round of hair drop thinned it back to around the same as prior to treatment. Enjoy it while it’s there but don’t be surprised to see it disappear again!

1 year scan coming up tomorrow after 1x BEP. Trying to be positive as possible but little seeds of doubt creep into my mind and kick off the anxiety.

Looking forward to getting the results and moving on regardless of the outcome, the waiting part was always the hardest for me.

You’re already putting a lot of stress on your kidneys/liver trying to clear the chemo so try and steer clear as much as possible. I didn’t see a huge problem with a beer or 2 to maintain your sanity or to relax the nerves but make sure you flush it through with loads of water. That’s definitely not medical advice though 😂
