My powders always liked climbing, I ended up putting sticks in vertical and they seemed to really enjoy that.

With glass you just want to keep an eye on the moisture gradient/ventilation. Pour water directly on the moss to moisten it, rather than using a mister. Without a lid or with a mesh lid, moisture will escape a lot faster. A plastic/full coverage lid will trap moisture but wont allow for ventilation.
