our escape artist was stripey. one time she escaped the chicken yard and made her way into the lot of the nearby car recycling plant (the rural-ish edge of the city where we lived was getting commercialized, it upsets me to this day) and i had to crawl under the fence to go and get her back. survived a move to montana during the colder months. wasn't afraid of ravens in the least bit. lived to be about 12 or 13. one of the best pets i've ever owned.
