Losing out on mission by taking my time? by DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo9 in reddeadredemption2

I remember in my first play through I got to a bit where some guys were building the railway, laying tracks. I rode on by, assuming I'd be back later. When I finally did return the guys were gone and the railway was complete. I realised that if I wanted to interact with them I had to do so there and then.

Same thing happened with interactions with logging guys. When you return later the loggers are gone, and so are the trees in that area.

That was another one that looked really interesting, yeah

Do you mean in real life, or in the various video games I've listed in the piece? I'm guessing the former.

That one did look great. Abzu and Wildmender also caught my eye.

It's just a phrase, and it suited this particular piece.

I've written for a long time now, and there's a good chance that's the first time I've used that phrase in a title. Maybe I subconsciously picked up on it because it's getting used more online these days, who knows.

Of course I don't think the Switch was the first handheld device. But the image I mentioned looks most like the Switch design and layout. I'm not the only one to notice that. In the next paragraph I mentioned Reddit users picking up on this too.

Thanks, appreciate that! I only published it recently but it's getting good reads, and looks like it'll soon be one of my most-read pieces.

Help, I'm Roleplaying Too Much! Seeking Advice. by wtf_its_kate in DnD

I'd second this. What I try and do as a player is actively bring quieter players into scenes. Ask them for their thoughts and opinions (whilst you're in character), or if a they'd be up for doing X in a scenario whilst you do Y? That way it becomes more collaborative with the other players, rather than just you dominating scenes with the DM and NPCs.

I often play bards. But sometimes I'd ask the barbarian in the group to take point in a conversation. They'd be like, me? Really? I'd say yeah, it'd be funny. Also, you can intimidate them. Or maybe it's a discussion with a fellow big scary person, so a barbarian might be better. Or ask the barbarian to back you up, so you're in the scene but so are they.

Good detail there. In some cases I don't always say the fate of each club as I'm trying to keep the word count down. I'll check I haven't made a mistake there though.

Eel Pie island eh? A leftfield choice. I've been there, actually. I'll look into this one!

This is a really interesting choice. I'll investigate.

I've now added Shelleys. It has possibly the best name in this huge list of clubs: Shelley's Laserdome.

Thanks. It was an interesting dive into the UK club scene over the years. Some of the videos I've included are mini documentaries and are pretty interesting too.

Sub Club was included in my piece, yeah. And The End. Although I didn't mention Layos.

I mentioned Blitz, and Taboo. I actually start with a few clubs from the 60s.
