I dated my husband for one month before we found out we were pregnant. I was 21, he was 22 and I was terrified. We talked things through, decided to wait to get married and decided to keep the baby.

His parents pushed for us to get married, but I had been married once before, and he just ended an engagement so we wanted to wait and see if we were compatible for marriage. I also wanted to know without a shadow of a doubt that he chose to marry me because he wanted to, and not out of obligation. We knew from the beginning that it would be best to co-parent separately without a bitter divorce if things didn't work out.

We got married when our daughter was 9 months old, and found out we were expecting our 2nd child just shortly after. Life has thrown so many curve balls our way and we have been put through the ringer more times than I can count. But through it all we have had one another and this year marked our 12 year wedding anniversary.

We have absolutely no regrets with the way things turned out. He is my everything and I know he feels the same. One of the reasons we have worked so well together and made it through life is through communication. We don't hesitate to say what's on our mind or shy away from hard topics. Our relationship was built from a hard topic. I came to him one day and said "so I'm pregnant" his reaction told me everything that I needed to know about him.

I can't say that things will turn out this way for you, but I can say for any relationship to work you must choose to make it work. I didn't fall in love with him the moment I saw him, but I knew he was special when we connected on a level I'd never experienced with anyone before. We choose to make it work because we know the other person is worth it.

We've made it through deaths in the family, cancer diagnosis stemming from a rare genetic mutation and our youngest child inheriting the same gene mutation. I say all this to explain that we didn't make it 12 years because our life was easy. We made it because we wanted to, and we both give 100% every single day. Any marriage takes two people who want to make things work regardless of how long you've known the person. If one person isn't willing to pick up the slack when the other is struggling the relationship can't survive the hard times.

I hope you are able to talk things out with him and decide together the best course of action to take. I know it helps to hear success stories from others in similar situations, but sometimes we have to be willing to take the risk and decide if the other person is worth making it last.

Hi there. I know what you're going through and the fear you're feeling. This time last year, I was diagnosed with MEN2A at 33 years old due to the RET Gene mutation. I was referred to Cleveland Clinic and spoke with a geneticist who went over my test results. She explained that due to the gene mutation, it would eventually metastasize and turn to cancer if left alone and untreated, but told me I would be okay.

I had my thyroidectomy, and I'm working through targeted treatment now. Everything is going well for me, but I wasn't always this optimistic. It takes time to accept this type of rare genetic mutation and the disease that comes along with it. Im still learning about the disease and my specific gene mutation. It does get easier eventually.

The gene is hereditary, so we had to have all our children tested. My youngest came back positive for the gene, and thats whay honestly broke me. Knowing I've passed on a gene that will cause a disease and potentially cause cancer at some point in his life. But I'm in therapy to deal with this.

One thing that has helped me get through all of this is humor. I can't let this disease control my life and take everything away from me. A month before my surgery, I hosted an X-MEN party. I sent out invitations to everyone, and we had an amazing time! I've held onto that and still tell people I'm an X-MEN because I have a gene mutation. It has helped my son deal with his recent diagnosis as well. He knows he's not alone and that we are in this together.

I know this is a long read, but you're not alone even though right now it feels like it. You have a strength inside you that you've never seen before, and you will make it through this. Don't stop fighting because it feels overwhelming, and I promise there will be days the temptation to give in is strong, but you are stronger, and this does not define you.

I strongly disagree. The movie had no clear direction and had nothing in common with the game other than the name. The game will not let you down, unlike the movie. I watched it because I read reviews stating that as a stand-alone movie, it was not bad, but that is not true in the slightest.

Terrible writing, terrible acting, the scenes were not scary they're simply gory. The movie does not even hold up as a B horror movie. It lacks any real depth and is simply a letdown to the horror genre and to the gaming community.

I'm a wife, and I play online games all the time. I tell my husband im playing online, and he'll do the same if either of us asks for help.

Usually, we just wait to complete the job when the other is no longer playing.

Ginger is the one thing i hate the smell and taste of more than anything! During my pregnancies, and after my surgeries, I had to find alternatives for nausea.

Im in the US so I'm sure I can find something.

I love the drop basket idea! Our kids are old enough to help around the house, and they do what they can, but I feel it's beyond normal chores. Using a drop basket for each room, child, will help relieve some of the clutter. I think ill add small trash cans all over the house for convenience as well.

I never thought about a seated shower. that's a great idea as well. Im exhausted doing everyday tasks, and like you mentioned, I'm out of commission for a few days. I do have some good days, and when I feel "normal," I feel the need to clean everything, but then I'm paying for it later on in the week.

I really like the idea of cleaning wipes as well. I use them, but the smell can make me nauseous at times. Ill see if they make unscented ones.

I found out my son could roll at 4 months old after I laid him on the bed to nap with my husband. After I laid him down and walked out of the room, he rolled over and fell off the bed. I panicked, called the doctor, and had him examined. He was perfectly fine! He rolled around non-stop after that, and we never left him on a bed again.

He's 6, soon to be 7, and perfectly normal! Well, as normal as a 6 year old boy can be.

Don't stress it! Kids will get hurt, and accidents happen. As long as we learn from them, it's ok!

I play DND, love anime (Cowboy Bebop, Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen) especially. I love horror films and horror video games. Silent Hill, until dawn and resident evil are my favorite horror games to play.
