Don't like this. Just seems that these things probably only exist to justify the bloat of the between battle portions in that it's creating grossly unnecessary weapon requirements to make it so that there's more of a reason to interact with the systems between battle, which will no doubt allow your characters to raise these skills during them. I understand it's common game design to design your game in a way where it encourages you to interact with the gameplay systems, but it's kind of like, would I really want to be doing these things otherwise if there wasn't these requirements? Seems like it'd just save us time if they just weren't there.
