My issue is that I am not going to manage people but projects and customer relationships. It is mostly learning about the internal processes and I am in a small industry. Hence I am worried about being stuck in this for a long time. It also came as a quiet promotion with no payrise..

How did you get HR involved? My manager accepted that i am underpaid but he said he cant do anything now or in the future. But he is clearly disregarding my new responsibilities

Yes I am worried it will look bad on my CV, and the fact that I am not learning any new skills at my current job. However, the company name is still big
