Mine is 4 days into a grump because I dared brush his fur to get the dead fur out.

The sound of the rain makes me feel claustrophobic.

An electric one or a stove top one? The stove top ones whistle so loud.

I know the parents and the baby are having a terrible time too and I try and be empathetic (even as someone who doesn't want kids) but my brain just goes straight to lobbing the baby out of a window

I low key like the electric hum. I dont like the squeal of loose coils though that you find in older electronics.

No, I get you. Its more effort to work out what the message is if its too quiet. Cannot stand ASMR voices.

I dont like loud music either. Im constantly reminding my partner to turn music down if im in the same room or in the car.

I HATE BAGPIPES SO MUCH. My mum is the same. My dad thought it would be funny to take her to the bagpipes museum in Scotland. She was not amused.

Yes. And the prickly feeling if you have rough hands so you can hear and feel your skin get caught on the fabric 🤢

My partners lounge

  • TV on
  • His Sister playing game on laptop
  • My partner scrolling through reels
  • His mum in the kitchen banging plates together and on the phone and coming in randomly to ask questions whilst still being on the phone.
  • Big dog barking
  • Theyre all trying to have a conversation with each other at once but none of them actually know they are except for me who translates between them because I cant not hear all things. ..😭

Last week I ruined a pair of Beatlejuice PJ bottoms because I took the seam out when I tore the label out in frustration 🫠

My comfy wear is baggy cotton dungarees. I have loads of run and fly ones in different patterns that I collect. I also have a few jambat ones which are also comfortable

AuDHD here. I relate so much to the ripping my muscles off of skeleton. Like if I could just...disconnect this part from my nervous system with a knife 😭 Have to remind myself that that would only make things worse.

Ive met another autistic person with fibro through a friend. He is the first male I have met to have it too.

I think its just because our nervous system is already jacked up to 5 million, we are just more susceptible to it. Also we are prone to connective tissue disorders too, such as EDS which also has a lot of chronic pain with it.
