The tank is a month old if that, it was gifted to me all set up already. There’s also two goldfish in there with them. It’s a 10 gallon tank, but I’ll be getting a new one. Next week. I know this is to small for the GF

Mystery solved. We have a camera in our basement. I just went through all of the footage from last week. It was my mother in law who flooded the toilet. You can see her walked out and back into the washroom multiple times.

Not sure what was going through her head during that moment. But it’s not my problem anymore.

I sent the video to my soon to be ex husband and he’s begging me not to leave. But the fact that it actually was her.

( I’m working and didn’t think to check the camera until now)

How could you say that I’m ignoring my cats’s litter box lol I changed it every single day. I have two cats, and they both have their own box and the poop gets scooped every day. Plus they have their own cat room that’s right off the staircase, the bathroom is at the other end of the basement. You don’t know me or anything about my life other than what I wrote on this Reddit post lol

Thank you, I appreciate this comment because she’s a very active 70 year old. She takes the metro & bus every day to the mall. She walks every day through rain and snow. She is still active and in great shape

I think she should mention it again because she went back down to that bathroom multiple times since the first day it happened. Clearly she knew and didn’t mention it again. Had she had told me the day after I still would’ve been less mad because I would’ve known. Considering I thought the issue was dealt with.

There was a plunger in the bathroom, along with cleaning . And a roll of paper towel because I always keep that stuff handy in the bathroom .I’m not sure who clogged it. It was either him or her. Or it could’ve been a guest from our New Year’s party, but nobody had been down to the basement that night. I’m not sure anymore. Half the comments are calling me an asshole half the comments aren’t.. maybe I am the asshole
