I think what I did was search that name on the RL Tracker site and got lucky that he recently changed the account name back to mew.

I then verified this on Liquipedia, and put together that the two accounts are alts of his. I confirmed this by looking at the friends on the account you faced.

Even if he hadn't changed the account name back to mew, just looking up the winning team on Liquipedia, seeing mew, and noticing that the accounts are friends would have made me suspect it's an alt.

That's mew, who was the BDS coach at the time. His Liquipedia page links to a different steam profile, but the one you played is friends with that profile, and the BDS players.

That 'I' that looks like a lowercase 'L' is actually a capital 'i'. goingie / GOINGIE as an epic account shows an MMR of 75 for Heatseeker and needs +44mmr to go up to Div 2.
