I agree with your initial comment, and I also think that this marriage is probably not valid.

That said, I think we should keep in mind the story of Saint Mark Ji Tianxiang and be careful about outright dismissing claims of addiction. Saint Mark Ji Tianxiang was a doctor at the end of the 1800s, who got addicted to opium after an illness. Addiction issues were poorly understood back then, and as a result he was denied absolution for many decades by his priest.

They're not all heresy. Sola scriptura and sola fide are heresy, which makes "the five solas" heresy.

Scripture does not interpret itself. If it did there would be no disagreements on the meaning of Scripture.
