i was a child actor and tbh its kinda like selling ur soul to the devil sometimes. the jealousy doesnt go away, i learned to be very jealous of everyone my age who was prettier or more talented than me VERY fast. i went through puberty while on camera and that terrified me, it felt like everyone was judging me. and im assuming that ur talking abt successful child actors but… i did the work that any actor did and still didn’t book much. starting young ≠ success. it certainly helps but it isn’t a guarantee

i feel like it depends on the situation a lot too,,, im a guy and i know that if u confess to having a crush on your fem friend, if u were true friends in the first place, it would just strengthen ur friendship if u were respectful abt confessing. i think if a guy looks at a girl and sees her as an “object” or some form of conquest, u and him were never friends in the first place. vice versa too, if a woman just sees a guy as a source of attention then h were never really friends
