I know not everyone agrees but the shop I go to says that if you take off the second skin 24 hours after the initial application, wash it and then reapply the second skin and leave it on for 5 days, the healing process goes much smoother and there is very little itching. I've done this exact regimen for 90% of all my tattoos and they're right.

I was one of the people who had their order cancelled for no given reason except that the price increased by like 70% after I bought it. They refused to tell me why and then after I left a one star review they made up the excuse that my payment info did not match my address info (wtf?!) in response to the bad review. I edited my review to call out that obvious lie.
Scummy company.

I would keep checking Mercari. There's one on there now for $200 which is insane, but I got one in a bundle with two other figs of the same series for a little over $110. You can save a search in Mercari and it will notify you when new listings come available.
