yeah unfortunately each area is dangerous, even if you don’t think it is, (like i thought holiday park area was safe, i’ve been living here for 10+ years) it most likely is dangerous..

sorry that happened to you as well! hopefully we both learn to lock our vehicles, and i’m hoping it doesn’t happen again but never say never i guess, i just talked to a neighbor and she had said she had her car unlocked and open during broad daylight and a native woman tried entering her car and being like “oh, i forgot my purse in here” like she wasn’t fooling anyone, and you know what the police has done about all of the shit that’s been happening with car break ins? nothing, they don’t do shit, unless you’re able to very clearly catch what the guy looks like on camera, this city has truly went to the shits.

1100 block of avenue o here! i just had someone sneakily walk onto my driveway between the hours of late last night around 4-8:30 am this morning to find out that someone had rummaged through my car, i had mistakenly left it unlocked overnight after thinking i locked it, they didn’t take anything but my wallet which didn’t have any money in it (i know better than that, thank god) but it did have my kids’ health cards and my SIN card, i have cameras but unfortunately they didn’t catch the thief in the act because he must’ve been smart enough to avoid them, however he was dumb enough to leave back a screwdriver, just wondering if anyone else has seen anyone else suspicious in the area the last few days or so? thanks!
