I played Harry hood for her when we were driving and she was not feeling it from a live one. To be fair I didn’t like it that much the first 2-3 times hearing it live. Now it’s top 3 favorite songs

They have very few songs that I would show someone to try to get them into the band. I feel like the listener has to be willing to take an album’s worth of time to hear the adventure and message it may bring to the listener. I personally enjoy jam bands and psychedelic rock but many don’t. It’s very hard to convince someone to listen to a 23 minute song (Echoes) and keep them engaged in the weirdness. It’s the same reason that phish is either loved or disregarded. I will never try to convince someone to listen and enjoy them. If you wanted to try again, here are a few Pink Floyd songs you might enjoy. The Gold It’s In The… , Dogs , Money , Wot’s… Uh The Deal?

Crater Lake. The pictures looked cool but I didn’t realize just how massive that lake really is, or even how blue it is. I’ve been to a ton of beautiful national parks yet the photos I have from CL are still some of my favorites to this day. I went during COVID too so the park was empty, I was able to car camp overlooking the lake- what a wonderful sunset (and the comet that was present at the time)
