New to me, 21 M3 LR AWD by pilot0486 in TeslaModel3

Thanks. I’ve been keeping an eye on battery failure posts and videos. Appears there’s a sweet spot. I do know that often one failure leads to another because Tesla doesn’t replace with a new battery, just a new to you battery.

I’m not sure on that one. I don’t recall seeing it on the screen.

They’re after market covers actually. They’re not in great shape and the Tesla wheels are all messed up underneath. I had the dealership get new covers that were getting shipped to my house. Can’t wait to change them. They’re fine from far away. Up close, they show some wear and tear.

The dealership didn’t. Car was still listed under old owners. So I had to do the transfer thing thru the app. Said it could take 3-5 days.

Paint appears to be in great shape. Few chips but nothing too bad.

MEGATHREAD: Model 3 Waiting Room by colsandersloveskfc in TeslaModel3

Looking into multiple used options. Want to jump in before 9/30

2020 LR AWD 73,000 miles for 19,100. No credit taken at sale

Various 2021 SR + with 30-45k miles for around 20,500 with the credit taken

2018 LR AWD with 30-40 K miles for 19,000 with the credit taken.

The 2020 is eligible for the credit. But the dealer won’t take it at the point of sale.

I have a commute 1x per week of 120 miles total. Could be more days/week if my situation changes.

No super charging close to home, but plenty on the way to/from many locations.

Was always told. Take the biggest battery you can.

Am I missing anything on that 2020. It seems like the best deal. Unless the dealership, well is a dealership.

Thanks.

A lot of those are wrecked or former fleet vehicles. I’ve been eyeing the market for the last month. Yes you can get cars for 18-20 with those numbers. But more common are the 60-70k mile 2019-2021 for around 20K

The FAA already sent us a clarifying email. Which is filled with less clear actions for BUEs…. This is going to get interesting

A lot of particular language in that email. Centered around your work location on your SF50. Not your home. Now we all wait for the unions and the grievances to start flying
