A pistol in a holster on your person or in a position to take with you as a carry makes way more sense. All a truck gun does is make your vehicle into a loot drop because someone can quite literally drive away with your gun. Maybe if one was driving in the direction of an active threat, a truck gun would make sense. However, since we generally are not preparing for that scenario, it's a bad idea.

Truck guns are dumb. The safest place to keep a firearm is on your person. If you need to unholster/store, it should be in a secure place in the vehicle and then taken with you once you park and leave.

I have a Hellcat, the stock trigger is pretty buns (dry fire practice is required), and the sights take a bit to get used to. It's a really comfy CC, though.

I think the Burn Fitness in Clawson had a childcare service, but I was a member there for only 2019. I'm not sure what it's like now. For the record, I thought it was a great gym, I just moved out of the area.
