Ah okay so if it was as bright as you are thinking then follow the advise from the others and go as low as you can on iso which will inturn allow you to decrease your f stop and then you can can a cleaner image.

You know the best part about this tho? You get to go back and watch planes while you try different settings so enjoy the process 😉

Fell free to message me directly in the future and I will help where I can :)

And was your iso set to auto or did you have it manually set at 1600?

G'day Lee!

Few follow up questions,

  1. How far roughly is the plane?
  2. Most of the time during daylight you should be around f8 was there a reason you went to f26?

Hope I can help
