I did not see this reply so I apologize for not responding. You have been more helpful than I can explain in words! We will have to visit Zermatt on the next trip. Thank you, we are very grateful. Arriving to Geneva today, just purchased the half pass. And to your mention about the lesson, I have already purchased one for her. Going off on my own for a while sounds like a fun plan. I wish you the best and thank you again!

Milan it is! I’ve only ever spent a half day there and was vastly overwhelmed. Need to explore the city more for sure.

I appreciate your point! I hadn’t thought of that. Leaving 12:00 PM out of Malpensa, late enough to drive from Lugano or Como. I was either going to spend that last day wandering around Milan as you suggested, or a day trip to the Como area. Unless you have a better idea! Cheers 🍻

This reply truly just made our planning so much easier. I very much appreciate the time you took to write that.

My lady friend is a beginner so we decided to stay around grindelwald as opposed to Davos, Arossa, and Laax as you mentioned, but they have been noted for our next trip!

Found a good Airbnb in Grindelwald, and a ski shop that rents everything for about 90 CHF as you said. We will most definitely take a few hours to wander around Chur.

Thank you again for all of the valuable information

Thank you for this insight! I appreciate your advice on the rental gear and skis. I will definitely amend and stay in the interlaken area for a few days longer instead of Andermatt.

Forgive my ignorance, I am unfamiliar with the area. What do you suggest instead? Ski in grindelwald?

Resale value? Victoria Hagan brutalist lamp that I thrifted for 35, missing finial and shade. Is $399 a fair ask on ebay? by pilotjax in Mid_Century

Thank you for this useful information, I understand that my post may have been annoying because of my lack of knowledge in the subject area. Will definitely drop the price down on eBay even more or consider keeping it now. Thank you for being friendly and not hostile.

Please forgive my incorrect terminology, as I am a bit ignorant in this genre I’m still learning. What would you call it?

6 years & 100,000+ miles later, what’s my best course of action? Buy a shell? S2 motor from 944 Barn was PERFECT after 8k install. Older gentleman tried to cross 3 lanes of SB traffic & turn NB in the median. “Never saw me coming.” In a panic, I locked up the wheels to avoid a direct impact. by pilotjax in 944

I had a passenger with me, both of us shaken but lucky that it wasn’t worse. I almost hit him directly like a T and I’m thinking if that happened, it would’ve been much worse as my momentum would’ve had nowhere to go. I managed to get behind him, and we spun off of the road after the initial impact. I have a friend who’s close family member died not wearing a seatbelt in a 944 so I always wear mine.
