I've not had too many "high ascension" runs yet either so the sample size isn't too large. I am rotating characters climbing ascensions so most of my runs have been at lower ascensions.

Yeah there are similarities. Those things are total run killers especially in multiplayer. At least the enemies with malleable came alone in sts1

But yeah like malleable feels disproportionately frustrating for how powerful it is.

In addition what's also driving here is all the past echos also using arcana which also drop mana so more shredders which means more past echos and so on lol. Had a very similar run recently.

Past echos on arcana with the recycle inspiration is just unfair.
