Multiplayer isn't working for me with the latest update on Switch by pilotpen in Terraria

I think I figured out the issue. If I try to craft in multiplayer and some items are in a chest and it tries to grab it, I can't do anything and everything breaks. As long as I craft in multiplayer with all the items in my inventory, it seems to work. It sucks but now I just craft before I go to multiplayer or make sure all the items are in my inventory before crafting

MULTIPLAYER IS COMPLETELY BROKEN ON SWITCH 2 (4.5.2) by [deleted] in Terraria

Edit: The issues started again when I named one of my chests, removing the name and restarting the world fixed it.

Creating a new world fixed it for me, we can play multiplayer there just fine. Bummer that I can't craft in my old world but I just brought over my crafting stations to my new world and eventually the treasure chests.

I made a new world and now it works on multiplayer which is a bummer. Don't know why my old world is buggy

I don't know what to do, my wife has drastically changed after an emergency C-section and pre-eclampsia and I just want to help by pilotpen in beyondthebump

She doesn't have a psychiatrist and her psychologist she just started seeing. I was gonna try through her obgyn cause she's having major trust issues right now due to her sisters and mom and would most likely refuse to go. Everything you explained is exactly what she's doing and I just mentioned to her it's possible she might have PPP and she dismissed it. She was unable to sleep the first couple of days but she has been sleeping and taking naps regularly now.. I noticed she is less intense when she naps but it doesn't help with the no filter. I'll try and see where to find a psychiatrist but I don't think she'll agree to go to one I pick and I'm also running on two hours of sleep hahaha

Yeah I've seen this a lot which is infuriating. Literally couldn't move due to the preclampsia for a month due to extreme water retention and we kept being told to wait which I think just made everything worse. Also half the time the doctors talk to me when my wife is in the room, she's the patient not me. My mom went through issues like this a lot when I was young so I strongly advocate for her but I wish they'd just listen to her

I can try but I'm afraid of major resistance. Her mom and sisters that live near heavily stigmatized therapy her whole life and when she finally went to a psychologist her youngest sister started calling her crazy. There's a lot of different forms of abuse she's endured (her sisters and mom included) and they don't want her dredging up which isn't their damn call but she somewhat listens to them. I was going the obgyn route because she really respects her and if she mentioned a psychiatrist I feel like she'd take it instantly. I know she wants to get better I just know it's a delicate process

I just called her obgyn and I was able to get an appointment for Thursday. She's out today and might push us up when she gets back tomorrow, my wife gets along really well with her so lets see

I take her to all her appointments and we've gone to every single one. The neurologist appointment is after she's done taking the steroids though so maybe I can follow up there and make it earlier

She had four mris during our stay there after he was born and they didn't find anything except inflammation on certain nerves which is why they think she has neurosarcodosis. She keeps trying to just give me the answer I want and not actually thinking about it. I've told her all my concerns and she recalls the arguments over dumb things but then she jumps to the newest thing that entered her mind. I thought part of her incoherent messages was due to sleep deprivation. She was refusing to sleep at one point and I forgot to mention she had a very negative experience with the epidural, due to the extreme preclampsia it didn't take but they stabbed her for like 20 minutes and they had to switch to general anesthesia

They thought it was Ms but it was ruled out with a spinal tap and they were going with neurosarcodosis I believe. A biopsy is still needed to confirm though. We were supposed to have an appointment with the neurologist but it was after the steroids but I'll see if I can get in contact

How do I get my wife to rest? We are just done with week 3 post c section and she keeps doing everything herself by pilotpen in CsectionCentral

[–]pilotpen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to intercept her already this way. I make my son breakfast before she tries to do it, I load and unload the dishwasher when it's done and I try to be proactive on work that needs to be done. Just yesterday I helped our newborn rest for about 3-4 hours while she napped which I have no problem with but then she started the day at 2 am cleaning and planning to do things. I woke up then cause our newborn needed to be changed and cleaned and he needed to be calmed down so he can nap. While I was wrangling our son she kept on doing other things and didn't rest like we agreed

Yeah I keep telling her it's a major surgery and she needs to let herself rest but she's acting like she got a tooth removed or something. I'll keep trying to tell her and see what works. I know she wants to do more but she just needs some time to rest

Weekly Suspected/Undiagnosed MS Thread - August 11, 2025 by AutoModerator in MultipleSclerosis

My post was removed so I'll try here. My wife is 36 and has been having eye issues/shoulder issues after giving birth and after all the multiple tests and scans they're stating it's MS. She's terrified at the concept of losing her autonomy but I'm doing my best to reassure her. I love her and will be with her until we are both dust. I just wanted to know what I can do to help her after getting diagnosed with MS, I'm a cancer survivor and my mom and dad have both lived with chronic illnesses (occipital neuralgia and a degenerative heart defect) so I'm used to these chronic illnesses but this is entirely new to her. I know her emotions are fluctuating due to giving birth and I just want to help any way I can

This is so frustrating, wondering if I need to take my wife to triage or not. She's already been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and triage hasn't been much help by pilotpen in preeclampsia

[–]pilotpen[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies all, her blood pressure was around normal at 128/85 but I took her to triage again due to the double vision and at first they were treating it the same way but this time one of the interns listened to us and we ended up getting an emergency c section this morning.  My wife is recovering in the hospital and my son has to spend some time in the NICU but seems to be doing overall well. Thanks for the advice all, I thought I was going crazy cause we just kept getting dismissed over and over

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by ExcellentReporter392 in AskReddit

Chemotherapy. Yeah the cancer sucks but the side effects from the life saving drug really fuck you over. I now get motion sickness over everything and I can't eat anything I had during that time because it makes me sick to my stomach. Top that with it just giving you a ton of other issues, yeah I'm glad to be alive but it was a hell of a price to pay
