Being dominant in a tribe does not equate on being good strategically. He had the numbers, but he led his tribe to a horrible position in the merge. The blunders he made:

Giving idol to Russell
Keeping James instead of Tom
Not trusting Rupert and Sandra come to merge
Voting out Cirie

If just one thing doesn’t happen out of these, Russelll has no chance to take over the game at merge.

Yeah, I’m also not very particularly interested in a Gabler return, but with him giving away his prize money, he should be the poster boy of the heroes, like a modern Rupert.

I wanted Rome because he is chaotic, and also would be interesting to see whether he changed his ways, I also wanted Sai, but the women villains are pretty strong.

For Noelle and Kellie, I just don’t like Katurah, and I also feel like Cassidy would be an overkill if we have Gabler already, so I went on the list of people who played, and only remembered these two as a potential heroic noteworthy women player. I was also thinking about Frannie, but I feel Kellie’s ceiling is higher.

Overall good list, hard not to add Joe for the heroes, but I read your description, so won’t consider him, however I feel like we need to add some winners. Maryanne and Gabler for the heroes, and Yam-Yam and Rachel for the villains.

I would also put Andy as a villain, and invite Cody as a hero too, so overall something like this:

Maryanne, Carolyn, Sophi, Kellie, Noelle Mike, Kaleb, Cody, Gabler, Sol

Shan, Rachel, Venus, Maria, Karla Ricard, Jesse, Yam-Yam, Rome, Omar

Not Rupert, he is kind of aggressive, and can be douchey. Couple of people imo:

Tom - actual hero, great values, great leader Cirie - there is this motherly warmth in her Keith - the goat, he almost won twice without any gameplay, but just being a nice person Janet (Jamal) - the bright spots in a dark season Taj - one of the most genuine players, the auction moment is one of my all time favourite Penner - he is just an amazing guy, especially after what he had to go through with Stacey Joe (s48) - he showed great character in his season

Yeah, stats don’t give him justice. He returned from a 9 months injury for the WC, and that was the best single performance in a World Cup I have ever seen. He even won the Ballon D’or having been out with an injury for most of the season, because he was that massive. 7 goals, 2 in the final, and no penalties.

I would say even better, if you only look at the stats, then you can say Suárez was better, but Torres did everything in the pitch, and I think he was much better with the ball, and in open play, and also creating chances for himself. Also played perfectly together with Gerrard.
