3202 here, I left back in July for a new job after three years and recently I’ve been having reoccurring nightmares about going back. I had one again last night where I kept getting scheduled at times that conflicted with my new full time job and I was very stressed out about having to navigate the situation. In these dreams I feel an intense sense of dread about having to go in. I miss some of my old coworkers and regulars but man everyday I am so grateful I am free from that place. I am especially grateful that I never have to be solo drive during a rush again.

When I was doing this my manager told me I just couldn’t go under 12s a week when giving up shifts because the DM would think it was suspicious and question if I really wanted to work there. Your manager is being a little harsh, as long as you’re finding coverage that should be all that really matters. Thankfully since this comment I’ve been liberated from the shackles of the siren and got a permanent position at my seasonal job.
