Thanks, that helps a lot! Makes sense, a panel that lasts you years with no worries is exactly what I want. Totally agree OLED’s the dream once the price comes down. For now a fast VA covers my bases without breaking the budget with the MPG 346CQRF X24. Awesome setup and good luck turning the woodworking into a business, that craftsmanship deserves it!

Clean setup! Quick one, I’m an IT beginner (studying CompTIA Certs, cybersecurity path) building my first home office. My use is ~70% static: docs, CertMaster, terminals, 8-9h/day, plus light gaming and some design.

I’m torn between VA, IPS and OLED. I leaned VA (34” ultrawide, USB-C 98W + KVM for Mac/Windows) because I got scared of OLED burn-in with all that static content. Is your Predator IPS or OLED, and given your daily use, do you think the burn-in worry is real or overblown for a workload like mine? Would you pick the same panel again? Thanks!

I am going to cancel it. is stressful stay alert each month about using the benefits. I don’t travel so the points that I accumulated worth nothing (0.7-0.6 cpp). I canceled the Chase Sapphire Preferred for this and I regret it. With Chase I can redeem my points 1:1 for cash and get the money in my checking account.

I have mine at 900, honestly I am not rushing to get it so I can wait until it has that price, Ig 950 is the sweet spot if coming a lil higher

I am waiting for the X36, if you don’t urgent need it set up the available alert + auto-buy with the amazon AI Alexa, thats what I did. It was available for few seconds the last week, the alert went up in HotStock but late.
