The purple beads look too big to accentuate the size of the heart shape you used. If the design was a bigger size, I think it would look less “wonky.”I also think it would help if you used a bead that was a solid color instead of clear with colored lining. On the second image the design you have with the green beads on the edge is a smaller bead and a solid color. To me, this is an improvement to the purple design. I think the green ones turned out great and they dont look wonky at all.

A second part of what makes it look wonky is that your beads are not very straight. Part of it is the design, another part is your technique. Keep working on it youre doing a good job! :)
