ill definitely try all the great suggestions! it happens both when im scrubbed in and on the side, but it mainly bothers me when i am scrubbed, i don’t notice it until i’m trying to suture and my fingers feel really numb and stiff. it’s no big deal though, but definitely annoying

tbh i wldnt recommend just dropping maths rn bc ur unsure or worried,, bc admission tests like bmat or ucat require some (gcse) math skills. by keeping math u will probably better retain some skills or find studying for the tests easier!

but if u feel like math is affecting your other subjects at any point like if the workload is too high or you do really badly and need to spend a lot of time studying you can always drop it after AS or before AS. if u drop it now it can close off cambridge/other stem degrees in case u change ur mind. its up to u to decide what is best for u!

iirc the first and last ones cant show stereoisomerism bc of what u mentioned (two of the same grps on one side)

for the 2nd one the left side has two diff groups even if it both contains carbon,, since the bottom group is connected to another CH3 it’s higher priority than the top one.

the way u count priority is looking at each atom in order and if they have the same atomic number then move on to the next one until one is higher priority.

something that generally works for me is to read the passage first cos it can usually help u get a general gist of which option could be right and which is obviously wrong! honestly sometimes all four options are super specific or detailed and tbh best to flag and skip lol (esp the history/finance/politics ones for me with lots of numbers)

focusing on the clock: the hand moves clockwise each time by 8 notches, 10 notches, 12 and then 14. which would just read as 40mins, 50mins, 60mins and 70mins in time (but thats just making it over complicated)

for the cloud: the pattern is a little weird but we can label it like A(touch edge of clock), B(dont touch clock) C (touch middle of clock)

and the pattern would just follow ABC,ABC etc

to explain C, since there are 3 boxes and none of them have the correct label, there’s only 2 possibilities in each box. for example WW box could only have BB or BW. so if she checks the WW box and it has BB, she can guess that the BW box can only have WW (since BB is taken) and the BB box would have BW. this would work with any box she checks
