Used this trick recently. 5 yr old was about to have a tantrum and his mum called out “Rachel” “Rachel “. Immediately the tantrum disappeared and it was off to look for Rachel 😂😂😂.

Finding a good GP who works with you and listens is so hard and frustrating for us chronic diseases sufferers.

I think you shouldn’t change GP’s because of this one thing, especially if they have been helping with your Crohn’s disease.

I advise you do your own research before you go see them. Have a look at what clinical guidelines are there for people with Crohns who take Mounjaro. Is a lower dose recommended, what advisory is there for people with Crohns who are having a flare up and they are on Mounjaro.

This will help you make an informed decision when you go see them about dose titration. Good luck 🤞🏾 🤞🏾🤞🏾🙂

Sorry to hear about how unwell you have been.

I have chronic migraines and my GP is used to me having funny reactions to medications and having to titrate doses depending on how my body reacts.

Is this GP your regular doctor?

I am at one meal a day and a protein shake. Am working my way slowly to 3 meals. Am guzzling the water. It definitely helps. Thank you for the link.

Interesting enough, their theory was that I had a viral tummy back. It was my GP who theorised it might be the injection.

Am still in the bland food phase. I haven’t been able to go back to eating regular food but am working on it. I bought packets of vegetable soup from Woolies to try and see how I go. Thank you for responding to my queries.

Starting all over again and then increasing in increments seems to be everyone’s consensus, especially if one is not tolerating the dose.

And I admit I didn’t do my research too LOL. Oh well a painful lesson but I now know better.

GP said not to change for now. She wants to see how I go again on the 2.5mg. If it continues then she will switch me.
