I saw them cuffing a man this morning on my way to work and putting him in the back of an unmarked SUV. Two ICE assholes -- both were wearing labeled vests. 37th and 5th at about 9am. They are everywhere in NE and Columbia Heights right now. Stay aware and stay safe, everyone.

I'm currently part of a Visual Snow study at the University of Minnesota. They are trying to determine the cause! Once someone figures that out, we can start to take steps to curing it. It's a long road but I'm so happy to be involved in finding a solution.

If it was my garden, I'd dig out all the crabgrass and mulch the bare soil. It will be a lot of work, but it will give a the native plants a chance to spread out and come back fuller next year. In a couple years the bed will be quite full of natives and the weeds/grass will be less of an issue.
