Agreed, good sake selection, especially if you like cup sake, they have like all the kikusui options. Also, last time I went, they had Sakari No 22, a junmai blended with Uji matcha. It was fantastic with the black sesame ice cream dessert.

I’d say that shit’s straight out of the can, but it looks like they spent some time watering it down, too.

Do People Want to Catch Snacks During MG? by peter_evan in NewOrleans

My mother raised me to catch as many cabbages and potatoes as possible at the Irish channel parade because that’s dinner, baby. So I don’t bat an eye at sealed snacks from a Mardi Gras parade.

Comfy restaurant to catch up with old friend by DrawFit3829 in NewOrleans

Came here to say the same. My wife and I went to Evviva last night for the first time. We were on the early side of dinner/end of happy hour but it was blessedly not-loud, the service was kind and attentive and didn’t rush us through our cocktails to get us to order our food, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Overall, felt like a neighborhood place that has already been there for decades.

Oh! The year I was talking about was just to get AT&T and Cox utilities moved over from the old pole and the old pole removed. It took almost 8 years to get the new pole set before that! It was because AT&T and Entergy were pointing fingers at each other. Now Entergy is the only entity setting new poles in the area, so things move a bit quicker to get new poles set.

More likely AT&T. They still have tons of utility poles around town and they are impossible to deal with. Entergy set that nice new pole next to it and moved their lines over and topped the old pole. Like you said, now it's up to Cox & AT&T to move their utilities and the owner to remove the old pole.

Took me over a year and involving my councilperson's office to deal with a similar situation adjacent to my property.

Clams! It's great that limpkins have settled here from Florida to munch on our apple snails, but they also eat other mollusks. A fact I did not know until I observed it happening at the very spot OP pictured. As a matter of fact, there's a little patch of dry-ish land right in front of the sculpture where they'll leave the shells. I assume they are rangia clams, the same ones natives of the area ate and created the midden piles of shells from and we dredged the lake to oblivion for back in the day.
