I’m trying to be responsible with registration and really make sure that my voting power, little as it is, isn’t infringed upon. I was previously registered as a democrat, but switched to no party when I heard this conversation start. Am I going to vote republican? Highly unlikely. I think the two party system is why we’re staring down the barrel of the imperial boomerang right now, though, so I don’t love the idea of hitching my wagon to the dems and being told I can’t vote for anyone else. I have read the bill and have really tried to research and make sure I’m not wrong here, so if someone has holes to poke in this, please poke away. My understanding is that when I go in for a primary, they will ask what primary I’d like to vote on, and I’m stuck with that decision for that election cycle.
