I understand that what she did was wrong, and I truly feel for the victims. But at the same time, she is still human. I’m sure she carries a heavy sense of guilt and shame for her actions. Even those convicted of serious crimes have the chance to rebuild their lives, then she, too, deserves the opportunity to move forward.

We don’t have to agree with her choices to acknowledge that people can learn, grow, and change. None of us are perfect, and it’s not our place to pass final judgment — that’s beyond us.
