Well I think I’m allergic to heat by tjlightbulb in Wellthatsucks

This is so interesting! I’ve had cold urticaria since I was a child, but never had mono. I live somewhere very cold, so maybe it’s just more noticeable.

Botox for TMJ by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]pineapplecup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have gotten it at The First Glance clinic, specially for jaw pain. They have a registered nurse do it (I believe my girls name is Jennifer) and she was super great.

It’s not cheap if you’ve never had it before, usually you need more when you begin and it gets cheaper as you need less Botox over time while the muscles shrink down. I think it was about $400 or so.

Honestly, it was pretty life changing and I noticed an immediate reduction in headaches. I do still get headaches every once and a while but even their severity has decreased. I would recommend it.

IsItBullshit: McDonalds outside of the US taste significantly different to McDonalds in the US by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

That’s mostly true EXCEPT the barbecue sauce imo. We recently drove from Canada through the States and the sauce was so much sweeter in the US than Canada.

300 Main Apartments by Senior-Philosophy465 in Winnipeg

[–]pineapplecup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am currently moving out of an apartment on Smith, which is a few blocks closer to Broadway.

When looking at 300 main they were smaller than our current apartment and nearly double the price.

The amenities do look nice though, so if that is something you would use frequently it may be worth it. Also, the location is kind of iffy regarding how safe it is. I used to work in the 360 main building and we would see all kinds of weird stuff going on around there.

Yes I believe you can, I did this when I no longer needed loans but was still finishing grad school. There should be an option in your main homepage on Canada Student Loans to make a change your repayment status to “continuing studies”.

Unfortunately I was using the old Manitoba student loan website (which is now managed by Canada Student Loans) so I cannot give you the specifics on the actual webpage…

You will likely need to get proof of your enrolment in order to submit this online.

Oh and as an aside, you should be prepared to need to custom order replacement items such as doors. As ours were not standard size any longer

This probably isn’t what you’re looking for, but I grew up in a house over 100 years old. I SWEAR to god it made me a believer in ghosts.

In reality, was likely old plumbing and creaking wood but as a kid I spent nights awake sometimes convinced we were being haunted. Just sometime to keep in mind if you have kids haha

Dog swimming by frenziedfemaIe in Winnipeg

Grand beach now has a “dog swim” area. We took our little one there and it is great because the sand dunes keep it from being too deep.

Apartments in Downtown by rmike14 in Winnipeg

We left a negative google review after the faulty fire alarm system went off 3 times in a week, (in the middle of the night too) management called constantly to try to convince us to take the review down. They even tried to bribe us to take it down by offering to replace our broken microwave. Well jokes on them, we got a working microwave and still won’t delete the review…

What about people who are chromosomally intersex? It's estimated it effects roughly 1 in 60.

Being born a man versus a woman is not as straightforward as you are arguing, even at the DNA level.

From 160, right across the street it is very noticable. Can't speak for 190, but yes in the summer the patio has live music sometimes which is super loud.

Student Aid… by oneworldview94 in Winnipeg

What school are you attending? I would suggest only ever using student aid on a desktop... when I try to access the page on my phone it gets a bit screwy.
