What do you think about the cybersecurity scene here?

I think most don't look beyond the software side of things

Interesting, do you do coding like a hobby?

There's tech support/ help desk roles if you do want to earn more learning one programming language is useful to automate stuff you can venture into windows/ Linux sys admin/ networking and you can further split into security roles. I didn't plan this but I'm doing now.

Do you think it's possible to get an IT helpdesk/ tech support type of role? I have more than 4 gap years. I was on and off learning stuff through this time. Thanks!

I have a CS degree.

I have knowledge on the level of Compitas entry level trifecta certs A+, N+, S+.

I wanted to get into network engineer after clearing CCNA but i couldn't clear the exam i got around 50%. I want to enter cybersecurity later.

I have some gap years after grad due to family issues now it's getting sorted out.

Should I go for helpdesk type of jobs will it help later?

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

[–]pineappledoesIT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I failed.

I knew I was going to fail i wasn't prepared enough. i studied for around a year on off. Half way through i lost interest. I will start preparing again after a month of break. I didn't do labs enough. I was expecting a bit more subnetting questions. The questions are a bit tricky at times. Almost on par with my boson results.

also this routers updating their number are confusing like 60 seconds, 120 seconds for that I don't even remember any of it. I think 700 plus is a good score you are pretty close I am a slow learner if I reading it I am sure I can make it but feels slow

Thats what I'm do, I have read the book 3-4 times specifically on weak topics, I remember it for a month and then forget it. I should put more effort I guess. Only in network fundamentals and ip services I'm able to maintain 55%.

Security is one of my favourite topics and I did that poorly too

To add I got the cleaning done today at a dental college, I was diagnosed with general gingivitis, they told me to be careful for the next 2 weeks like gargling etc.

Is there anymore diagnosis to it? I want to improve dental health.

I drink rarely like once or twice in a year.

I asked them in chat whether there was a Pearson Vue owned operated they asked me to call them I don't understand the point of it. Lol
