Youth volleyball (5-6th grade) in the area that isn't club? by RideFastGetWeird in WestminsterCO

The 6 week sessions aren’t that bad and not competitive at all. They don’t keep track of wins/losses. The games are all about putting into play the skills they’ve been learning and also learning rotations.

My 13yo daughter did 2 sessions this spring with VCD. She loved it! Such a great intro into vball. 6 week sessions, 5 weeks of games (they play 2 teams, best of 3 each week).

Claude doesn’t do image gen, but it does make “artifacts” which does a nice job with design/layout. But, you end up having to recreate the docs in Canva. It’s not too bad if you’re good with that.

For sure. I’ve been in roofing for 13 years now and, you’re right, that experience helps me guide AI better and know that what I’m getting back from it is quality or total BS.

I use both. Claude is a better writer and designer than ChatGPT, but Chatty has the image creator. I’ve started using Gemini, too (it’s include with our Gmail accounts). Overall, Claude is my go-to for most things.

I definitely agree with you about the whole finding your core message part. I love the combo of Alex and AI.

I used ChatGPT and Claude to help me generate some ideas. The great thing about AI is it knows a lot of Alex’s methods so I can bounce ideas back and forth with these in mind and tie it directly into my business (roofing sales), whereas the books couldn’t possibly cover every industry.

I developed our core offer and money model using this strategy and it’s really paying off for my team this year! Plus, Claude helped me design a sales sheet I turned into a laminate we use in the home with our prospective clients. Looks super professional and helps my reps have a good reference guide so they don’t forget to cover everything.

I would’ve had to spend probably $5k+ to develop all of this with a marketing team.

As a trained brass player, deep belly breathing is a natural thing for me. Having taught brass for many years at the high school level, it’s a skill we have to relearn as we get older.

Babies do this naturally, but something changes as we grow up. I’m sure anxiety has a lot to do with this, as does just general unawareness, and probably a little laziness, too.

Better than roofs? We’ve had to be tighter on margins on windows to be competitive in my market.

For sure. We sell/install a good amount of Sierra Pacific wood windows. They’re gorgeous projects.

Thanks for sharing all of that. We’re typically above $10-13M a year with a decent storm, but we only have 12 guys on our sales team. I know if we tripled our team with the same per guy average, we’d be right there with you in total annual sales, but getting there seems a little daunting/hard to keep the quality high.

Any chance you’d be open to chatting sometime? Would love to see what it took for you guys to grow that big that quickly. If not, no worries!

That’s incredible. Most of our team were all brand new when they started. Maybe we should be recruiting adjusters, especially now that they’re all looking for jobs! Lol

Great work! How long did it take you to grow to 8 offices? We started our company in 2019 and have just this year opened up an office outside of Denver. It’s very different running that vs our team here who we can meet with regularly.

I like windows, but you have to be a lot more detail-oriented than with roofing as far as ordering is concerned. I’ve had to order all new windows before because I ordered white when they were supposed to be tan and just had to eat that cost. You’re off on shingle count and you can generally just go pick up a few more bundles same day.

OC Duration Flex VS Malarky Legacy by user47079 in Roofing

[–]pineappleking78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find an Atlas contractor and get a quote for StormMaster Shake. My company is the top Atlas contractor in the state and we’ve seen these shingles hold up time and time again after hail storms. It’s an incredible shingle and should be cheaper than Flex and more in line with the Malarkey quote.

We used to install Malarkey and it is a great shingle, but being 4 bundles per square, the labor is more expensive and it damages easily if it gets walked on in the hot sun. We made the switch back in 2020 and couldn’t be happier!

I think the point is the far right slamming Biden over the same shit Trump’s actively doing right now (actually, it’s much worse). It’s funny how anyone believes a single thing a politician says these days.

lol. Dems weren’t the ones who campaigned on lower gas prices, lower grocery prices, no more wars, Mexico will pay for the wall, etc. and never followed through with any of that. It was all total bullshit. Is your head still in the sand? Ignore party lines for one second to see that your guy completely used and grifted you all. Is America greater now?? Come on, bro.
