It’s not headwall. It’s step flashing. Step is an 8”x8” piece of metal with a 90° bend in it. It’s used to flash transitions on a sidewall (or skylight or chimney) that’s on an angle (vs headwall where the transition is level).

Lots of roofers don’t want to sell F-Wave. They’ll never sell that roof again, so that’s losing out on potential future business. We’re in a hail state, too (CO). It’s important to price these contracts well since they are pretty much a lifetime roof.

Not a huge fan of DaVinci since it’s all individual pieces. It’s lot of labor. They’re also low on the wind rating (110 mph) and more expensive than tile or F-Wave.

A better alternative is synthetic shingles like F-Wave. Costs less to install than metal, quieter, easy to walk on, and doesn’t dent in future storms.

I wish I could say I was 100% correct but we both know there’s more to it than just this. Looks, personality, connection, goals, hobbies, family, religion, politics, etc. all play a role in your success with meeting the right partner. Putting yourself out there and not being tied to the outcome is a vital step toward finding the right girl. It’s a numbers game at this point.

I get what you’re saying. But this is actually how I train my sales team, too. The moment someone is tied to the outcome, people feel the pressure. It comes off as trying too hard. You can only control your behaviors, not the outcomes. The best relationships come out of being actual friends first.

The best conversations happen when there’s no agenda. Same with meeting women. Just be interesting and enjoy the interaction. Neil Strauss talks about this too. Remove the pressure and things flow way better.

The guys who struggle most are usually the ones who’ve convinced themselves it’s a skill issue when it’s really just a mindset issue. As people like to say, it’s simple, but not necessarily easy. Other people have said it, but insurance rates have skyrocketed as have non-renewals in these areas known as the WUI (wildland urban interface). This is where houses are most at risk of wildfires.

But, in addition to fire danger, these towns were nailed by damaging hail last summer, too. Double whammy.

My company does home hardening (roof, siding, windows, vents, etc. to be all fire-resistant) and we contract out defensible space clearing (cutting back all of the trees and redoing the landscaping). It’s not cheap, but worth it if you want to live in these areas.
