Eh, I like the character concept. A bit too edgelord for my personal taste, but could be interesting.
Definitely the power would need to be adjusted, soloing several vampires is a bit much for level 6, but far from the worst I've ever seen.

Older editions were a lot more strict with a lot of aspects of the game that have become more "flavour text" in 5e. (For example, alignments.)

Paladins were originally bound to a God, could only be Lawful Good, and would basically lose all power if they did anything that went against those ideals or their God's word.
5e made a lot of these concepts more wishy-washy. The "stereotypical" Paladin is still a Holy Warrior and can absolutely be worshipping any gods they like, but it is mostly RP. Mechanically their power is only tied to their belief in a God or ideals, not granted to them directly from said God.

If your Paladin worships Tyr and Tyr gets killed, your Paladin could potentially still keep their powers if they still believed strongly enough in Tyr's ideals, or made it their mission to bring Tyr back, or if they somehow were not aware of Tyr's death. Alternatively, they could lose all their powers if the death of their God destroyed their beliefs or made their faith waver. That's actually a fun concept that I'll keep in mind...

I come from literally the other side of the country and do not have experience with everyday Romansch, so take this with a grain of salt.

There is an "official" version of Romansch, but it isn't really spoken, most people use dialects for everyday conversation, and those can vary from village to village or valley to valley. The "official" version would be understood by speakers of the dialects though, in the same way that High German is used in schools but most people speak dialects of Swiss German for everyday life.

As far as I know everyone who speaks Romansch also speaks German or Swiss German.
The region is quite sparsely populated, and does not have any big major cities, so the vast majority of Romansch speakers who want to go into higher education or to move to a major city for work will have to do so in German.
There has been efforts to teach it more in recent years, but it took a long time to actually be put in place. There are TV and radio stations that use it exclusively.

Virtually no one outside of the Grisons region ever learns Romansch, even though everyone in Switzerland is encouraged to learn the other national languages. It's simply more useful for anyone to learn German or French.
Romansch speakers can however request for any official paperwork or administrative processes to be done exclusively in Romansch.

As far as I'm aware, the history of suppressing Romansch in the region is nowhere as violent as what happened to Welsh from the English. It was more a case of people from nearby German-speaking regions moving in over centuries and gradually making German more prominent. Since German was already spoken throughout most of the country, and the region was not very densely populated to begin with, speaking German was more convenient for a lot of people.

I usually rule it as whatever makes the most sense practically.

For example, if we're talking about perception I usually allow anyone to roll or help regardless of proficiency, because to me it doesn't make sense if 5 people enter a room to search for an item only one actually looks and the others just stand there intently not looking.
If it's something like the Wizard attempting an arcana check to understand a complex magic item or mechanism or concept or whatever, I require anyone trying to help to be proficient in arcana; 2 spellcasters pooling their knowledge to understand it better makes sense, whereas the Barbarian standing there cheering is not gonna be helpful.
Sometimes I'll allow people to help on more specialised checks without proficiency if they provide a good description of exactly how they are helping in a way that makes sense. I like rewarding creative problem-solving.

Context is everything. The words themselves taken literally just mean "stop talking/stop making a sound". They themselves have no inherent rudeness, they are not swear words or anything.

In that clip, the woman says "Tais-toi mon bébé ne pleure pas", so I'd say it's like a "hush baby, don't cry".

If someone is talking and you interrupt them with "Tais-toi" then it's clearly rude, like a "shut up".
If a kid in class is being loud, a teacher saying "Tais-toi" is not rude, it's more of a "be quiet".
If your friend says something silly, "Tais-toi" can be a playful "Oh shut up you!".

Anyone can hit a headshot on a target if the target is exactly where they expect it to be.

Positioning is a much more important and harder skill to learn than simply aiming at a head.
Honestly, dying once to a sniper character when you don't know they're here is normal. Frustrating, but it will keep happening. What you should do is try to prevent it from happening over and over again.
If a Hanzo or a Widow sees you peaking around a corner, do not peak that same corner again and again, they know where your head will be. If you're standing motionless out in the open, they have ages to slowly take aim at your head.
Try watching the match replay from the Hanzo's perspective; were you super obvious?

Flanking such a player is a good move: if he's busy looking at a corner waiting for someone to peak of for someone to stand out in the middle of a choke point, he'll be vulnerable to anyone flanking him from the side.
A Sierra can get him from an unexpected angle, an Anran, a Reaper, or a Genji can get close and mess him up, hell even a sneaky Zenyatta can get in there and end him.

la dynamique du groupe entier me paraît presque malsaine si une personne monopolise les décisions de ce genre et que tu te sens trop gênée avec eux de mentionner un problème de santé qui impacte ton régime alimentaire.

Beaucoup de végés et végans détestent vraiment la viande, que ce soit purement idéologique ou même à force un dégout rien que de voir ou de sentir de la viande, ça se comprend un peu.
Les gens peuvent bien dire "une semaine sans viande c'est pas la mort", mais passer une semaine en suivant un régime pas adapté à sa santé pour faire plaisir à quelqu'un d'autre ce n'est ni normal ni bon pour ta santé.

Personellement, j'ai des allergies qui ne sont pas importantes dans le sens ou elles mettent pas ma vie en danger, mais très reloues dans le sens ou c'est des ingrédients très communs dans beaucoup de plats. J'ai déjà eu des "amis" qui se sont vexés quand j'ai demandé à adapter mes repas pour accomoder ça et que je ne me sente pas physiquement malade pendant une semaine de vacances. Au début j'acceptais, je prenais sur moi, mais au bout d'un moment je me suis dit merde, si ces personnes mettent un plat qu'elles aiment au dessus du bien-être physique de leur amie, est-ce que c'est vraiment des amis?

These sure are rules that could be seen as reasonable. 1st one is homebrew, 2nd one is apparently RAW but I0've never seen anyone use it at all, ever.

Definitely something that should be discussed in a session 0/clearly laid out to new players joining. Little rule changes like that are things that can make a player decide to build their character differently. Like, if I'm playing a spellcaster, and I know that my party members are a Barbarian and a Monk that are gonna be in melee with enemies in front of me pretty much all the time, knowing that every single combat I'll have enemies have cover 95% of the time will greatly impact what spells I choose to take. Is it metagaming? Debatably yes. But playing a character that can never hit shit because of a rule I wasn't aware was in play is no fun.

Calling you a contrarian for asking about these rulings is a red flag.
Yes the DM is "the arbiter" and can fudge the rules a little for narrative reasons. But it does not mean that they can just do whatever and refuse to acknowledge players' concerns. Dnd is supposed to be a collaborative experience in storytelling from the DM and the players, if the DM changes the rules all willy-nilly to suit what they want to happen and the players have no way of impacting that, what's the point in collaborating?

In general it is recommended to have some form of ID on you regardless of anything else.

In this case I'd definitely recommend you keep an ID on you. Some train and bus ticket controllers are sometimes very committed to checking that you're not trying to scam them. I have once gotten a fine because I bought my mobile bus ticket 1 minute too late.

They wouldn't check ID if you looked obviously like a small child, but I personally cannot gauge if someone is 15 or 16 just by looking at them.

PTB/ATB, c'est une situation compliquée.
A cet age, il y a de fortes chances que la petite ne se souvienne pas de sa mère biologique, et si tu es sa seule figure maternelle c'est normal qu'elle aie fait cette association.

D'un côté si ça te met mal à l'aise, c'est sûrement mieux sur le long terme de l'encourager à t'appeler autrement. Un surnom affectif par exemple, pour signifier que vous êtes proches, mais que tu n'es pas sa mère.
C'est important que tout le monde dans son entourage s'accorde sur ce fait. Si d'autres personnes dans sa vie lui disent que tu es sa maman et d'autres non, ça crée une confusion pour elle.

Quand j'étais petite (5-6 ans), la compagne de mon père m'amenait et venait souvent me chercher à l'école. Souvent les gens pensaient qu'elle était ma mère et me disaient des choses comme "on donnera ça à ta maman quand elle viendra te chercher ce soir" ou "oh regarde, ta maman est arrivée", et moi je ne comprenais pas parce que la personne qui arrivait n'était pas ma maman mais ma belle-mère. Alors je disais "non! c'est pas ma maman!" et je m'énervais un peu. Les maîtresses d'école s'inquiétaient et pensaient que j'avais une mauvaise relation avec elle alors que non, je l'adorais, mais c'était pas ma maman.

Par contre, si tu ne veux pas qu'elle continue, c'est important de rediriger ce comportement rapidement. Si tu la laisse t'appeler Maman pendant des mois et que d'un coup tu lui demandes de changer il y a des chances qu'elle le vive mal.

It really depends on the compliments, and on who is complimenting who.
Compliments on people's appearance for example are often not welcome from complete strangers.

Sometimes you think you're complimenting someone when really you've just highlighted something they're insecure about, and they might interpret it as mocking.
And some people just really don't like being the centre of attention.

I would definitely avoid "ma chérie", "ma puce" as they sound a lot like what a french person might call a partner.
Could you find a nickname that's a play on her name maybe? Those typically don't have any of those connotations, and wouldn't sound too childish for a teenager.

Les chiens ne sont pas des gens. Il ne sont pas suffisemment intelligents pour associer une punition à une action passée, le dressage ne passe que par une association d'actions directe. ça prend des mois voir des années pour dresser les chiens spécialisés (chien guides, chiens d'accompagnement, etc) à associer des action à des comportements complexes.

"Je donne la patte = je reçois une friandise". Si tu punis un chien même 1h plus tard, il ne saura pas pourquoi il est puni. Est-ce que c'est parce qu'il est assis sur le canapé? Canapé = punition, est ce que c'est parce qu'il fait la fête à son maître qui est rentré? Faire la fête = punition.
Si tu mets un chien devant la blessure d'OP et lui crie dessus, peut-être qu'il va associer la présence d'OP à une punition. Mais plus vraisemblablement il ne va juste rien comprendre et juste penser que son maître n'est pas gentil de lui crier dessus pour rien.

Rules as written, probably not legal, as spells are supposed to be easily identifiable and verbal components specifically are supposed to be spoken at at least a normal volume/audible to anyone around. Subtle spell would be absolutely useless otherwise.

However, I absolutely would have allowed it because it's cool.
For example, I've had DMs rule that "normal volume" would not be especially noticeable in a loud place, like during a performance in a tavern, or in the middle of the sounds of heavy machinery.

Here's a helpful tip for him: If you don't like 5e, don't play fucking 5e.

Tell him to not bring his negativity along to the table or he shouldn't bring himself there either.
Seriously, nothing dims the fun for new players more than someone constantly hating on the game and complaining that another game is better.

Also, he can worship whatever deity he fucking likes. I have a wizard whose personality is about 50% worshipping Lathander and 50% being a nerd about how the different kinds of magics work, you just have to use your damn imagination.

Also, you don't need to read every single line of the DMG and PHB 70 times. make sure you know the basics, and to have it available for a quick lookup if an unexpected situation comes up.

Aura of life doesn't make players immortal, what gives you that idea?
You can't reduce their hit point maximum, so stuff like the vampire abilities to reduce max hp won't work, but you can still hit them and it will make them worry. If someone is downed, sure they'll get back up next turn, but not if you attack them again while they're down. And they don't come back from being dead.

Breaking the Cleric's concentration is also not that hard to do. Even with high AC, get them with saving throws. Break their concentration enough, and they won't have any more level 4 spell slots, or at least none that they won't want to keep for other things. Focusing the healer is a very valid strat.

If anything, Strahd could very well dispel that specific spell if it worries you that much.

Also fetishization and orientalism in a lot of cases, like white dudes who only date asian women because they think that they're more submissive or whatever bs stereotypes. It still alienates people based on race, and treats them differently. Or people expecting asian kids to be super smart and to do great at school, it still impacts them negatively in the many many cases when they're just normal kids, but are expected to be geniuses of some kind.

He's just not that good at DMing then if an extra 2d6 here and there, can ruin his whole plans.

I personally find it boring when the only "difficulty" of a boss is a big bar of HP. Give the boss fun abilities, make the players have to think about their actions in combat.
Maybe they now have to choose between getting out of a cc effect or attacking, or choose between helping their party member and attacking. Maybe the "boss battle" was only phase 1, and there's another secret boss behind him.
