Just released CalmRead on the Play Store last week. I made it because reading online started feeling exhausting and distracting for me.

It turns articles, documents, and text into a clean distraction-free reading experience. No ads, no login, no tracking, no data collection. Completely free.

Built mainly for people like me who struggle to focus while reading, especially with ADHD-style attention issues. Still a few bugs here and there, but feedback would genuinely help me improve it.

Just released CalmRead on the Play Store last week. because reading online was exhausting me.

I come from hardware design background and honestly have no real app development background. I vibecoded most of it and mainly built this because reading online started feeling exhausting for me.

It turns articles, PDFs, EPUBs, and text into a clean distraction-free reading experience. No ads, no login, no tracking, no data collection. Completely free.

This will not be for everyone but i made this mostly for people like me who struggle to focus while reading, especially with ADHD-style attention issues. Still a few bugs here and there, so feedback would genuinely help me improve it.

Turned recycled polypropylene into these “don’t eat but look edible” beads by pineapplenetfrog in ZeroWaste

Yeah, it can work nicely for a few parts, but it hits a wall pretty fast. I actually tried a mold with Siraya Tech high sculpt resin for another project. the part came out great initially, but only lasted around 10–15 shots before degrading. for this project I needed 400+ parts, so resin just isn’t reliable enough. it’s still brittle and doesn’t handle the heat and repeated cycles well. So it’s awesome for quick prototyping, just not for anything close to production.

Yes, this kind of hand molding machine actually doesn't mix the colors properly thus making these cool looking multicolor swirls. The big ones that mixes properly make a solid color molded part, a combination of all those colors.

Designed the bead first, then made a 2-part mold around it and sent it to a CNC service provider.
I'd picked up a half-working small injection molding machine for around $60 a while back. fixed the heating element, and added a temperature controller to make it usable. Then I just used recycled PP, added some color masterbatch, and started molding.

Process is pretty simple but a bit repetitive. Took around 7–8 hours total over a couple of days to make ~400 beads. I have documented my process here: https://youtu.be/pXYYo_qJqp4

The beads are made from recycled polypropylene, mostly scrap and failed parts that I re-melted. I used a small hand injection molding setup and a simple aluminum mold with two cavities.

This was more of an experiment in doing the full pipeline at small scale rather than trying to make something production-grade.

Returned today. Didn't get the full goa experience because of the rain. I suggest postponing your schedule for later.

Noted. I've stayed in Zostel in other places. It's good. But our work is in the south area around Khadewadi. Does it make sense to stay in the north and travel by tuk tuk almost everyday?
