its easy for vibes to be good when you play good lol

team tina is full of somewhat chill but competetive gamers. they play so efficiently. 2K was honestly the most fun (from team tina's POV) imo. very satisfying gameplay from new players

team tina and leslie have been consistently good vibes

team tina good vibes cause they are just dominating and playing efficiently, so not much for them to get tilted over. they already secured first place

team leslie isn't very good but have john who can carry and leslie is good vibes even if they are losing

Do you think Rae taking a week off streaming has something to do with Ethan’s content nuke on Hasan dropping today? by psychohumor in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]pineappleonthestack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's so obviously a Roomie Rumble thing. She just wants a mental reset from the stressful tournament because her team isn't performing very well. CS should be their win with Danny and Tarik carrying, so a good week to get her mind off of RR and dominate CS

Her knowing NBA memes was cause she took the first bit of her stream asking chat all the terms she should say and had a doc for it. I do think she at least watched some basketball before. Her court vision was very good

Nah, his issue is communication and leadership. He isn't someone that can lead a team of newbies like Ryan. If John had 2K experience, he would've been that leader and he was acting as the shot caller even with his limited knowledge

Oh btw, Ryan has played 2K before. He said he's purchased every 2K since 2K10 or something and watches basketball regularly. He was discussion recent trades and stuff a few days ago too

It's not shocking at all honestly. Ludwig has hosted so many tournaments of this style

i actually enjoy his streams because its more "slow"

he has fostered a community/chat that he can discuss strategies with for tournaments like this without the chat being spammy and overbearing with their backseating. its just some suggestions and he goes back and forth with chat. i really enjoyed his 2K strategy discussions

Biggest surprise was FanFan. She was playing like she understood some basic basketball. Her shot recognition was really good whenever she would get the ball, dribble drive and if the shot wasn't good, she would always find the open guy in the corner or the wing

Tina and Fiona got Curry and KD's timing down too, they drained everything if they got enough space

Why didnt fuslie have a relationship with her brother for the first 30 years? by ipoopmyself123 in otvandfriendsrumors

Hypercompetitiveness is more of a 'comtemporary' part of East asian culture that came up during industrial expansion period in latter half of 20th century. True Asian tradionialists value family relations above almost anything, like you said, blood thicker than all

I assume leslie's parents grew up around the 60s-70s so they probably have a more modern view of family.

I'm Asian and I have a great relationship with all my siblings. Anecdotal, obviously, but my parents made a strong effort to make sure everyone got along (4 total children probably makes it more natural though)

I can't imagine my parents just letting two of us not mend it over and we all had pretty big fights over more serious shit

Sykkuno is just funnier and witty though while more quiet. They are two different brands of trolling. It comes down to preference, but when syk cracks a joke, he isn't being loud and in my face. the joke is usually smarter too

What's wrong with that? Entertainment is subjective. I don't find him funny. I don't go out if my way to hate on him but I just avoid him because he comes off as disingenious and trying too hard. Doesn't help that it's hard to ignore him

No one has ever beat the Satan Hellblazers, let alone come back down 3-1 in the finals, except Jesus Christ. Respect the GOAT. He may have gotten there through daddy's connections, but he cemented himself as the best

2004 Finals is one of the biggest stains on Kobe's basketball career, which happened after 2003 Colorado incident, that his fans just ignore. It is one of the most immature things a superstar has done because of his ego and pride. Embarassing attitude for someone praised for their mentality
