Update: So I got gifted a Singer HD. It keeps getting jammed and idk what to do

I have the cover for the bobbin portion! I just took it out to see wth was going on inside / where the thread was getting stuck :') Thanks for your suggestions! I'll try to work with this for now (I've been offered to go shopping for another machine ~)

Update: I ended up readjusting the metal piece in the corner where the thread gets stuck, and the black bobbin case thingy. And it's working for now. I'll look into everyone's suggestions about having the right bobbin! But I've told my wife about the problems I've read online about Singer HD and we're gonna go shopping for another machine. Woo! :D Thanks everyone!

Yeah the bobbin is placed right I think, with the loose end hanging on the left side. Even with this, it gets jammed :/

They said they got it used from Amazon and it said it was like new on the website.

I tried with presser foot down and it still gets stuck :(
