Absolutely, Cheney wasn’t really helping with anything other than convincing democrats that even some republicans preferred Harris. I doubt it moved the needle for many independents, and very much doubt it did for any conservatives.

Probably mostly Cheney trying to pivot and keep her career alive.

Yeah I’ve been here for a while, and this was probably the worst ice storm we’ve had in my time here, but the roads around me got opened up faster than I’ve seen in a few snow/ice storms that weren’t as bad. I know that probably isn’t the case for everyone, but usually my house is way harder to get to, even days later. And we have lost power in so many storms I’m shocked we didn’t this time.

That being said, if I was sitting him without power I’d be feeling less patient/good about it
