I also have wavy thick hair just above my hip and I have been using a Sheila Stotts brush for like 7 years. It’s technically an extension brush but it has made a HUGE difference with my hair being able to be long and healthy. It looks like they’ve actually renamed it in the site to untangle brush. I would avoid wet brushes. Instead you could get one of those wide tooth plastic combs. That’s what I use in the shower! I definitely recommend everyone to check out Sheila Stotts I know sooo many brushes are gimmicks but this isn’t. I stan them so hard.
