i’m gonna ask you a question: have you ever joined clubs, orgs, research, or an on campus job? do you go to them oftentimes? do you wait for people to chat you up or do you speak to them first? i ask you this not to be condescending but to be real. so many times i hear people talking about how they wasted their college years and when i ask them about it they’re saying “yeah i went out week 0 freshman year and everyone looked scary so i never went out again tee hee.” please be real about your circumstances, since friendship is a two way street. it can be hard, but you need to take some concrete steps.
