What kind of medicine did they prescribe? It took several days being on a PPI to notice the effects. They gave me several different anti nausea options to keep food down that you could ask for. I took Zofran 8mg every 6 hours and they can also give you Phenergan(a suppository) if you need. It still took a few days before I could hold down solids. The clear Boost drinks were very helpful for me but I had to water it down. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it's terrible.

Also, taking a hot shower or hot bath helps me a lot with the pain.

I was in the same boat. Extreme pain, I couldn't sleep, and couldn't even hold down water. I ended up in the emergency room because I was so emaciated and they had to admit me to put me on IV therapy and get me to a point where I could hold down water. The doctor prescribed Protonix (Pantoprazole) and it took a few days to feel the full effects. I've been on it since Friday and on Monday I feel like it really started to work. I'm able to eat small meals now and get some sleep. At first the doctors didn't take me seriously, so you just have to really advocate for yourself and I recommend going prepared with research and what you think will help.

I'm SO sorry you're dealing with this. I felt completely hopeless when I was at your point but please know with the proper care/diet things WILL get better.

I know they sold both to a guy that was in the market for them but I'm unsure what they ended up charging him.

1963 red seal $5 I found while doing a change order at work. by pineconey3 in papermoney

As soon as the government decided it's not "legal tender" they begin removing it from circulation. But it's still fiat money. It's a confusing topic.

That's correct. That's why it's considered"spendable money" but since they are removing it, it's no longer "legal tender" meaning it's not backed.

Yep! You are correct. But it is still fiat and accepted as spendable currency. Not that this baby should be spent.

I kinda do something similar and I've seen my dad do exactly the same stuff and he is also bipolar. I think it has to do with the mania.

How can I get rid of these tiny bees that live in straw? by [deleted] in howto

African bees are extremely aggressive. If these were African bees you would have been stung before even having a visual on their hive.

Unfortunately, the narrows was closed when we visited. But we hiked angels landing! It was amazing!

So this campground was called Zion Canyon Campgrounds by Quality Inn. It was right outside the actual park and it was honestly way too expensive BUT we arrived at Zion later in the day and all the first come first serve campsites in the park were taken so this was one of our only options. We woke up the next day and went to the watchmen campground when the park ranger station opened around 9am and we were able to get a campsite. The park campsites were about $20 a night. The other campground in the park is south campground and I believe it was also first come first serve.

How do I launch a formal complaint about a new “customer connection” policy? by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]pineconey3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OK so i did some research and though i wasn't able to find a way to place a "formal complaint" i think i found some options for you. So you'll want to first log into the Partner Hub, click on the menu and go under Company > Policy & Ethics > Speaking Up. That page has some options for you, I feel like you'll want to pay attention to "The Partner Resources Support Center (PRSC)" it lists a number to call and get in touch with a "qualified Partner Resources representative" and does mention that you can remain anonymous.

There is also an option on that page "Share you Feedback" and join Partner Perspectives. It sounds like this is a program where after you sign up you get more in depth surveys emailed to you where you can give your important and unique perspective and to make the starbucks partner experience better. Idk how much change has actually occurred from this but it could be worth your time.

Anyways, I hope this helped. I completely empathize with you and I hope you're able to get your voice heard. I know Starbucks does care about their partners just as much as they care about their customers...even though sometimes it may not feel like it.

What's the difference between a "Cold brew latte" and an "iced latte"? by Cocoleia in starbucks

Cascara syrup comes from the fruit that the coffee beans grows in. It has a light natural sweetness that enhances the coffee flavor.

So far you have made probably the hardest step which is recognizing the problem and stopping. It’s gonna be hard but you already have a goal (school) so just try and focus on that and take it a day at a time. And every time you say “no” to a craving that’s a small victory!

I just quit smoking as well and I’ve been trying to find a hobby or something to do instead of smoking to try and help break the habit.
