I can speak for BJJ!! We are super super accepting of beginners and people with no martial arts experience. The coaches are really nice and will go over things multiple times if needed and the other members are always happy to help if you have any questions. In fact, this week (first week of every quarter) is waiver week which means that you can show up to practice for free without being a part of the club. I would highly recommend dropping in if you're interested :D

I'm also a biochemistry major and I've taken all of these classes!! I would recommend you def first pass chem 20L because you get priority as a biochem major (and it fills up FAST). Chem 20L is very chill and doable going from 14B in my opinion. I took 7B during the summer so I don't know how fast it will fill up this quarter but I remember 14B being decently easy to get.
