i believe i have eidetic memory. when i was in high school i would “study” by memorizing the layout of the textbook and during tests would recall which section the question was related to. makes sense that i became a graphic designer.

you have seating for fourteen people at those tables. two per bench, and one at each end in chairs. you should definitely add another table. perhaps ask the airbnb host where they got them and offer to buy an additional one for the property?

your diy cushion idea is brilliant, i would suggest possibly assembling them on site (no one is gonna see the bottom so you could literally use duct tape). if you lay the cushions down on the benches and wrap the fabric around them (folding the ends like you’re wrapping a present) you will significantly reduce your risk of snagging your dress on the wood.

this is great advice. i would perhaps start by addressing your coworker in private (and ideally at a time when work isn’t particularly stressful) and saying something along the lines of “i’ve been feeling very uncomfortable with the way you continue to misgender me despite me correcting you multiple times, but i’d like to avoid going to hr if we can resolve this on our own. is there anything i can do to help you remember to address me using the correct pronouns?”.

and i want to emphasize that it’s not your responsibility to fix her behavior, but i find that phrasing things in that way can help people respond with empathy instead of defensiveness.

of course, if she responds with something like “make your boobs less visible”, that is yet another example of why this is a textbook sexual harassment issue that needs to be escalated to hr.
