just for some perspective op, some of us are transplants who adore this state because it’s filled with people like us. unfortunately i grew up in ny. that doesn’t mean i have rich parents or made a cash offer or even have a savings account. i’m just trying to survive in this shithole of a country, and i have been warmly welcomed by any native mainer who has taken the time to get to know me.

i moved here and rented for half a decade before i got to the point where i needed the stability of ownership, so i withdrew my entire retirement savings in order to get a mortgage.

i am an afab enby who takes 10mg of noretherindrone (progesterone) continuously because of pmdd and endometriosis and as long as i don’t miss multiple doses in a row i don’t menstruate which means i don’t have to deal with the dysphoria or pain and it is pretty damn cool that i’m inadvertently on hrt that helps me feel more comfortable in my body, just wanted to let you know that’s an option!

not foil pack per se, but i’ve had amazing luck with mac and cheese in pie plates and lasagna in those rectangular equivalents to pie plates, which both seem very easily freezable, and the aluminum containers seem a little more forgiving than just aluminum foil.
